About Harborline
A small crew that takes exteriors seriously
We are a Guilford-based exterior contractor working the shoreline towns between Branford and Stonington. Our trade is siding, windows, doors, and gutters, and the flashing, housewrap, and fastener choices underneath them that decide how long the work lasts.
Who we are
Harborline Exteriors is a small exterior remodeling company based on Boston Post Road in Guilford. We keep two crews, and the people who quote your job are the people who run it. No sales layer, no subcontracted mystery crew showing up on day one.
We chose the shoreline on purpose. The housing stock here is worth working on: antique colonials around the Guilford Green, shingled cottages from Westbrook to Niantic, Federal houses in Essex and Stonington Borough — and the weather gives the work consequences. Done right, an exterior out here lasts decades. Done cheap, it announces itself within three winters.
How we work
Materials first. Before we talk colors, we talk about what the wall assembly needs: housewrap, flashing, ventilation, fasteners. Those choices decide whether the pretty part stays pretty.
- Written scope and fixed price before work starts
- Our own crews; we do not broker jobs out
- Daily cleanup, magnet sweep for fasteners, tarped plantings
- A walkthrough at the end of every job, with punch list items fixed before the final invoice
Licensing and insurance
Harborline Exteriors is a registered Connecticut home improvement contractor (CT HIC #0654321) and carries full liability and workers’ compensation coverage. Certificates are available on request before any work begins. (This is a fictional demonstration company; the registration shown is not a real license.)
