Exterior remodeling across Branford’s shoreline neighborhoods
Branford packs a lot of coast into one town: the harbor, Branford Point, Indian Neck, and Stony Creek facing the Thimble Islands. We work in all of them, mostly on siding and gutters that have given up against the weather.
A different house on every point
Branford’s coast is a series of necks and coves, and each one built differently. Indian Neck and Pine Orchard carry shingled summer houses a century old. Stony Creek faces the Thimble Islands with a mix of Victorian cottages and tight village lots. Closer to the harbor and the Green, it is capes and colonials on quiet streets.
We quote each of them on their own terms. A Stony Creek cottage with original novelty siding is a restoration conversation; a 1970s cape off Brushy Plain is a straightforward re-side.
Most-requested work in Branford
- Vinyl re-siding of the postwar neighborhoods between the Post Road and the water
- Gutter replacement — the mature oaks in the older neighborhoods are hard on open gutters, and guards usually pay for themselves here
- Cedar work on the Indian Neck and Pine Orchard shingle houses
- Entry doors for harbor-facing homes that take the southwest wind
