Where we work
Our shop is on Boston Post Road in Guilford, and our crews run the shoreline from Branford to Stonington. Ten towns, one stretch of coast, the same weather problems, and we know the housing stock in every one of them.
The ten towns on our route
- Guilford: our home base; antique colonials around the Green and exposed lots at Sachem’s Head
- Madison: beach neighborhoods with real wind exposure near Hammonasset and the Wharf roads
- Branford: harbor streets, Indian Neck, and the Stony Creek cottages facing the Thimbles
- Clinton: low-lying harbor and beach homes where water management comes first
- Westbrook: summer cottages turned year-round homes along West Beach and Old Kelsey Point
- Old Saybrook: the river mouth; the hardest salt exposure on our route
- Essex: Federal-period village houses that call for historically careful work
- East Lyme: mid-century capes and ranches due for windows and siding
- Niantic: bay-front village homes on a short maintenance cycle
- Stonington: Borough restoration work and everything out to the point
Why we keep the route short
Every town on this list is within about forty minutes of the shop. That keeps estimates fast, lets a supervisor check every active job daily, and means a warranty call never waits for “the next time we are out that way.” We would rather own one stretch of coast than skim three counties.
In one of these towns?
We are probably working near you this week. Call and we will fold your estimate into the route.
